Rock On and Get Loud with
Rick...It's a Party!!
This page provides video and/or audio recordings from the epic June 21, 2015
celebration of Rick's birthday at Boo's in Royal Oak, Michigan.
[Please note that this page is on double-secret probation until Mike and
Steve see/approve the inclusion of their work (below).]
The June 21 performances at Boo's had four basic configurations. First, Jeff Grand and his Grandmasters (featuring Tino
Gross and Chris Rumel) performed, followed by a family reuinion duo-trio,
the "Cousins Band" (The einberg Trio?!), featuring cousins Mike Weinberg and Steve Weinberg with Danny Feinberg.
Then Rick joined the Grandmasters for a set (with Steve joining in on one
track). The show was closed with another set by Jeff and the
Grandmasters. All great fun to experience!
The music is provided in chronological order,
by song. [The video files are HUGE and may open very slowly for you (if
at all). If the videos don't work for you, please try the "audio-only"
versions (in genuine MP3 quality!).] Enjoy!!

By the way, Boo's is the Live Blues & Jazz Club managed by
fellow-60-turning BHS friend Mark Pasman, The Paz, who famously hosted WCSX's Blues
Cruise for decades. Mark also periodically leads great All-Star Blues
Sessions, featuring such musical luminaries as Thornetta Davis, Jim McCarty,
and many others. (You may also recall that that Mark graciously played bass for the
so-called "XBHS Jam Band (I)" at the 55 Party at Kensington Park (2010).)
